SBHC INSPIRATION CORNER

Pastor Linda A. King was born and raised in Micanopy, FL. She attended school through the Alachua County School System and also attended Santa Fe Community College. She gave her life to Christ in 1977. She married Pastor Willie L King, Jr. in 1976.

Pastor Linda King attended Jones Temple COGIC for 13 years. There she taught Purity Class and Sunday School. She served as Secretary of the Adult Choir, Treasurer of the Young Adult Choir, and as Deaconess. She became licensed as a Minister in 1993. She served as Co-Pastor of St Peter Full Gospel Baptist Church for five years. She became ordained as an Elder by Without Walls International Ministry in Tampa, FL. by Pastor Randy White in May 1997.

Ground Breaker

Pastor Linda King now serves as Co-Founder & Pastor of Showers of Blessings Harvest Center, Inc. She also functions as Executive Finance Officer, Pastor of Daughter's of Destiny, and Pastor of Outreach Ministries. Pastor L. King loves the Lord and in loving him, He has opened her heart to others. She is especially sensitive to the needs of the hurt, broken and abused women. Her vision and prayer is that all women from all backgrounds will be delivered and set free from past hurts and disappointments. She wants all women to know the Love of God and to know that they are holy and worthy in the eyes of the Lord. Through the Lord they can find fulfillment and their God-given potential in every aspect of their lives
