Valerie Long

Valerie Long, better known as “Skeeda” to all at Showers of Blessings Harvest Center has been a faithful and dedicated member since 1998.

Skeeda serves in the music ministry as an organist and a pianist. She is dedicated in that she has on many occasions follow not only our Pastor to visiting churchs but she has also followed the Men of Blessings when there was a need for her to minister. 

Her goal is to produce her own spirit filled praise and worship album or CD, while continuing to on to become more anointed and skilled in music. Skeeda will also like to operate in her gift as an entrepreneur.

Skeeda says that one of the most important things to her is taking care of her grandbaby, Kyleigh.

She would like people to know that she truly love working in the ministry because it has helped her grow spiritually and has equipped her to become a mighty and anointed woman of God.

Ministry of the Month

The SBHC Greeters Ministry who purpose is to welcome and prepare the hearts of every member and guest with a sincere, friendly, warm welcoming smile has been outstanding in serving the house of God.

They show their love for God by presenting themselves with a positive and enthusiasted attitude.

Their mission is to be effective for the Kingdom by leaving a lasting expression of God's Love for everyone that come to worship at Showers of Blessings.

“The Greeters Ministry is a wonderful way to serve the Lord and the church”.

If you have a desire to serve as a greeter, you may see Sis Martha Danzy, president, Cynthia People, vice president or any greeter welcoming you at the entrance to the house of God.
